Scope of Work
After government approvals, construction and installation was conducted during the warm months (after ground thaw), which includes: 6 manholes; 96 handholes; 40,816 feet of trenching; 8,771 feet of directional boring; 87,426 feet of PVC duct; 19,394 feet of HDPE duct; fabric inner-duct; and 295,575 feet of fiber cable. MasTec's previous experience working in Alaska allowed us to overcome challenges inherent in this cold weather environment.
