MasTec was awarded the EPC solar power contract to provide BOP procurement and solar power construction services for build out of 3.1mw of BIPV over 31 rooftops for the Denver County School System. The school district in Douglas County, Colorado is the state's third largest educational district. "This solar power project," Douglas County School District Board of Education president John Carson said, "will enable us to save thousands of dollars a year in electrical expenses, while also reducing our environmental impact. Completion of the BIPV projects will completed by year's end."
